We require you to take care and use the contents with care, safety and diligence.
Fairness and standards will be maintained at all times.
All open wounds must be covered. If you do not have a plaster, let us know on arrival and we will be happy to provide one.
Good hygiene practices are to be complied with at all times, ie: cleaning bake stations and all equipment in a careful manner.
If you are late, please duly inform. A refund will not be provided in this instance. We encourage you to remain punctual.
We do not accept cancelations once an order has been confirmed.
We are not responsible or liable for any losses incurred.
All payments must be made in full at least one week from or date of confirming booking, prior to collection.
In line with the POPI act, your personal information will not be shared with any individual.
I, personally, or any property belonging to me sustain and which directly or indirectly follows from any of the following: my participation in the above or any other activity of any nature whatsoever.
I hereby indemnify Cupcakes and all its employees, and hold them jointly and severally harmless against all liability, costs, penalties, damages, claims, expenses (including attorney fees) resulting or arising from the above mentioned activities, whether against myself, my estate or any other person.

We cannot be held liable for any third-party costs, such as travel bookings or accommodation with hotels other than our own.
Refunds are not available on gift voucher purchases, nor can gift vouchers be exchanged for cash or other goods. Gift vouchers are transferable. Gift vouchers may be used for our services offered or for orders. Gift vouchers are valid for 6months to a 1 year from their date of purchase.
In the unlikely event of cancellation of an order, a full refund (within 14 days) of any fees, however if paid by gift voucher, we will replace the vouchers to the value.
All refunds are made to the source of the initial payment. i.e. original bank account or individual.
No refund will be made if you fail to collect your order.
In the event of a power outage or load-shedding that cannot be planned for is not our responsibility. We cannot be held liable for such unprepared occurrences. We do not guarantee or make up for any lost time.
Refunds and Replacements
Due to the perishable nature of our product, we do not accept returns.
In the event you are dissatisfied with your purchase, you must contact us within 3 days from receiving your order. We reserve the right to limit refunds or replacements, and we can only offer one replacement per consumer cancellation policy or change of order.
Any change in order including cancellations must be communicated to us within 14 days of your delivery date. If outside of this timeline, we cannot guarantee the change or cancellation.
Please note that cancellations made by either party qualify for a store credit voucher and that no refunds are issued from Cupcakes.
We at Cupcakes aim to provide a great experience every time, but even we can experience the off day occasionally. If you have an issue that isn't covered above, please reach out to our team and we'll help work through a solution.
Hygiene Protocols - COVID-19 Pandemic
29. Here at Cupcakes, we have taken serious and drastic steps in order to safeguard and protect both ourselves and our customers from the 2019 pandemic we faced.
30. We have implemented strict hygiene protocols over and above our already stringent policy in order to ensure a safe space to continue doing business in. Over and above the guidelines set out by government for all South Africans, we will be taking additional measures.
All staff are required to wear a cloth mask or clear visor while handling, preparing and packaging baked goods, dealing with suppliers and customers.
Customers are now permitted to enter the premises and suppliers are limited to accessing only the entryway to deliver supplies ordered. Hand sanitizer is available to all entering and required to be used.
Hand sanitizer is freely available for all staff and customers to use.
All surfaces are frequently sanitized using an alcohol base 70% or chlorine base disinfectant.
Employees of Cupcakes are being monitored daily by means of checking temperatures.
Under no circumstances is cash accepted for orders, unless otherwise.
Collection of orders is encouraged.
When collecting orders, the inside of the venue is sprayed down with a sanitizer before and after delivery. Staff are to wear cloth masks or clear visors and make use of sanitizer before and after handover.
